Srinagar: In wake of the ongoing encounter between militants and Government Forces authorities have imposed restrictions in parts of Kashmir capital Srinagar today. A fierce gunfight is underway at Karan Nagar area of Srinagar city. The intermittent firing is still going on while Forces have sealed all the entry and exit points.
"Large contingent of Forces personnel has been deployed in and around encounter site to prevent people from moving or assembling there. "The situation is as it was yesterday," said a police official. Reports said that a portion of building was blasted by Government Forces last night. Authorities have already suspended high speed internet service in Srinagar city. Internet service is also blocked in twin districts of South Kashmir including Pulwama and Shopian"
